Job summary

Gloucestershire Health and Care NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Psychological Practitioner to deliver psychological interventions for birth-related anxiety, trauma and perinatal experiences. The role includes working with a multidisciplinary team to support individuals and families, and to supervise and train staff as required.

Qualifications

• Experience of birth anxiety and trauma work is desirable.
• Training in complicated grief/perinatal loss essential.
• Willingness to undertake further related training.

Responsibilities

• Carry a caseload and provide evidence-based psychological interventions.
• Plan and prioritise workload with autonomous clinical responsibility.
• Provide training and supervision to MDT colleagues and others as needed.
• Collaborate with Psychology Practitioners and community teams to share psychological interventions and theory.
