The Essex Perinatal Mental Health Service has successfully established a new specialist service in the community over the last seven years.
This is an exciting opportunity for Band 4 Nursery Nurses to join our dedicated and growing team of experts in this field.
The service operates from five hubs across north and south Essex and the current vacancy is with the NE Hub based within Colchester.
The post holders will introduce Nursery Nurse expertise and interventions to the delivery of specialist community perinatal mental health care to women across Essex and will play an exciting role in shaping how the role benefit women and their families. It is also an opportunity to be part of service development to improve delivery of care and clinical practice working within the multi-disciplinary team framework together with our Perinatal Leadership Team, Practitioners, Perinatal Psychology workforce, Perinatal Consultant Psychiatrists, Support workers, Social workers and Occupational Therapist.
Successful candidates will need to demonstrate experience of working with mums with mental health difficulties together with sound child safeguarding practice. Good communication, collaborative partnership working, time management and planning skills are essential.
Ability to travel is essential and so candidates must hold a valid driving Licence and daily use of a vehicle.
