The Perinatal Parent Infant Mental Health Service is a specialist multidisciplinary service within NELFT NHS Foundation Trust. It develops assessment, treatment interventions, and care pathways for women experiencing mental health issues in the perinatal period. This period is critical for the development of the baby and their family, and the service plays a vital role in supporting them.
The service offers assessment, treatment, and seamless care pathways for women up to a year postnatally, working closely with various health and social care teams across four boroughs. It also provides consultancy, support, and supervision frameworks for professionals in both statutory and non-statutory sectors.
We are seeking a qualified RMN to deliver mental health interventions to pregnant women and/or their partners/significant others.
The post involves working collaboratively with colleagues to ensure a comprehensive 'safety network' of care for parents and babies, including multiagency collaboration.
Applicants must have post-qualification experience in a mental health setting, community work, and safeguarding children cases. Experience or interest in Perinatal Mental Health and knowledge of NICE guidelines are desirable.
COVID-19 vaccination is encouraged and may be required.
This role is subject to a probationary period, with comprehensive induction and mandatory training provided. The position attracts a High Cost Area Supplement of 15% of basic salary, with a minimum of £4,551 and a maximum of £5,735, pro-rata for part-time staff.
