Overview

Nottinghamshire Perinatal Mental Health Team is a multidisciplinary and well-established service providing tailored approaches to meet the mental health needs of women and their families in the perinatal period. You will have opportunity for direct one to one, and group based therapeutic work with women experiencing a wide range of mental health problems, often relating to complex trauma or attachment difficulties. The service is also seeking to develop psychological interventions across multiple pathways, and you will be invited to contribute to innovative service development.

We are looking for someone who is passionate about working with women and their families and whose values and principles are aligned with the organisation, including compassion, and a person/family-centred focus. There is opportunity for professional development, with additional training being actively encouraged. We also have good links with the local Clinical Psychology Doctoral courses.

Please note applicants will be required to pay for their DBS check. Costs are deducted from salary following appointment. The DBS application cost is £26.40 (standard) or £54.40 (enhanced), and this cost will be deducted from your salary over the first 2 months of employment. You are encouraged to enrol for the DBS Update Service, with an annual fee of £16 per year.
