A healthcare organization in the UK is seeking a Business Administration Coordinator in Canterbury. The role involves producing reports, managing administration staff, and supporting performance and quality initiatives. + Producing and issuing reports using the Power Business Intelligence system.
+ Auditing for Quality Improvement Projects.
+ Processing clinical outcomes and reporting on KPIs (key performance indicators).
+ Attending meetings and managing diaries.
+ Using the patient record system (RiO).
+ Coordinating non-mandatory and mandatory training for Perinatal Service (Perinatal Mental Health Services, Rosewood MBU, and Maternal Mental Health Service - THRIVE).
+ Using KMPT's SBS system to raise invoices.
+ Direct line management of the Administrator Band 3's within PMHCS and Maternal Mental Health Service - THRIVE, including recruitment, appraisals, and performance management.
The position holder will support the Performance, Quality, and Admin Manager for Perinatal Services by providing data reports and compliance support as required. Additionally, they will work closely with operational team leaders and other Business Admin Coordinators within the Perinatal Mental Health Community Service.
Perinatal Mental Health Community Services (PMHCS) is expanding its multidisciplinary team to include a dynamic, self-motivated, forward-thinking Business Administration Coordinator. This role is within the Specialist Directorate, Perinatal Services, which includes the Perinatal Mental Health Community Service, Maternal Mental Health Service - Thrive, and the Mother and Baby Unit (MBU).
A Band 4 Administration Coordinator will supervise Band 3 Administrators/Band 2 Administrative Assistants and provide business performance support to one or more services. Candidates should have at least intermediate-level Excel skills, with the ability to analyze databases, interpret data, identify issues behind statistics, and suggest solutions. The focus will be on managing information on service activity and overseeing the local administrative service to ensure efficient and effective service delivery.
The ideal candidate will be educated to A Level standard or equivalent, with good Maths and English skills, and possess an NVQ level 3/RSA 3 or equivalent. Strong IT skills, including proficiency in Office packages such as Word and Excel, are essential. Attention to detail, the ability to monitor workflow, ensure quality, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing situations are crucial. Excellent secretarial, organizational, data entry, and keyboard skills are required.

The main hub sites are located at Canterbury, Maidstone, and Dartford. While this position is based in Canterbury, regular travel to alternative sites, including Maidstone, will be required for managing colleagues across sites.
