Job summary

Royal High Bath is seeking a Performing Arts Technician to provide technical support across lighting, sound, projection and theatre tech. You’ll enable productions, lessons and events to be polished and professional, backstage and in classrooms.

As part of a vibrant school community, you’ll lead safety checks, support recordings and help train staff and students in safe equipment use, contributing to high-quality student performances and creative work.

Qualifications

Experience providing technical support for Performing Arts learning and productions.
Ability to manage lighting, sound, projection and theatre technologies.
Capable of contributing creative input for school productions.

Responsibilities

Deliver technical support across lighting, sound, projection and video for lessons, exams and events.
Lead on health & safety compliance, risk assessments and equipment checks.
Support recordings and audio creation, and assist rehearsals and productions.
Train staff and students in safe use of equipment and processes.
Collaborate with marketing to showcase Performing Arts work.
