Job summary

The Laurus Trust is seeking a reliable, enthusiastic Trust Performing Arts Technician on a casual basis to support the creative and technical aspects of our Performing Arts provision across the Trust. You will assist with lighting, AV, and curriculum delivery while helping with set design and stage construction.

Key duties include set design and construction for shows and events, technical support during performances and assemblies, and supporting Performing Arts departments across Laurus Trust

Qualifications

• GCSE maths and English (A*-C) or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 A-levels or equivalent.
• Sound knowledge of stage lighting, sound, video recording/editing, music technology and AV equipment.

Responsibilities

• To deliver high quality support and technical production services for drama, music and other performance activities across Laurus Trust schools.
• Set Design & Stage Construction: assisting with design and build of sets for shows, workshops, exams, performances and events.
• Technical Support: providing lighting, AV and technical assistance for events, assemblies and performances.
