The role:
As a Performing Arts Technician on supply, you will support the smooth running of lessons, rehearsals, and performances by:

  • Setting up and operating lighting, sound, and AV equipment

  • Assisting with rehearsals, events, and school productions

  • Maintaining equipment and ensuring health and safety procedures are followed

  • Supporting teachers and students in the practical delivery of drama, music, and dance lessons

  • Organising and managing technical resources for classroom and performance use

What we're looking for:

  • Experience working in a performing arts environment, ideally within a school or theatre setting

  • Strong technical knowledge of lighting, sound, and audio-visual systems

  • A proactive, reliable, and safety-conscious approach

  • Excellent organisational and communication skills

  • A valid DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)

  • Right to work in the UK
