Job summary

A local educational institution in East Midlands is seeking dedicated support for its music and drama departments. The successful candidate will ensure effective facilities, provide technical assistance, and foster an engaging learning environment. Ideal candidates will have a strong knowledge of performing arts and excellent communication abilities. This is a permanent role, starting as soon as possible, within term time hours, offering a salary of £22,247 - £22,601 annually.

Overview

Hours: 37 hours per week within school hours | Term Time + 1 week
Contract: Permanent
Start Date: As soon as possible
Salary: Grade 3, Points 5-6 (actual salary £22,247- £22,601 per annum)

Responsibilities
  • Be dedicated to ensuring facilities are set up to support the successful delivery of lessons in the music and drama departments.
  • Provide technical support to staff and students, prepare equipment and materials to support the running of lessons or productions, and support lessons where required.
  • Support lessons and productions as needed, contributing to a high level of service to staff and students.
Qualifications
  • A good working knowledge of performing arts, its equipment and its use/maintenance.
  • Knowledge sufficient to understand the school’s curriculum requirements.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to build effective working relationships with staff and pupils.
