Job summary

Perfect Placement UK Ltd on behalf of our client in Edenbridge, Kent, seeks an experienced Performance Vehicle Technician with a passion for tuning, repairing, and building high-end cars, mainly on VAG platforms. You will join a performance-focused team delivering precision engineering.

You will work with advanced diagnostic tools and participate in engine rebuilds, dyno testing, and performance enhancements.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician or in a similar role.
• Extensive knowledge of German vehicle platforms, especially VAG.
• Level 3 (or equivalent) qualifications.
• Experience with diagnostics, engine rebuilding, and performance tuning.
• Own tools required; site provides access to specialised equipment.
• Enthusiasm for high-performance vehicles and technical challenges.

Responsibilities

• Diagnosing and repairing engines and vehicle systems on high-performance cars.
• Conducting engine rebuilds, tuning, and modifications.
• Using diagnostic tools such as VCDS, Launch, and Autel.
• Performing routine servicing and general maintenance tasks.
• Assisting with dyno testing and engine builds.
• Maintaining high workmanship standards aligned with customer expectations.
