Performance & Talent Lead - Fixed Term Contract

Summary:

This role will provide short-term cover to the HR Centre of Expertise for Leadership, Learning and Talent - continuing our focus on unlocking our potential for growth. This role will oversee our current approach to performance management and support the implementation of planned talent initiatives during Q2/3 2025.

Key Responsibilities:

Performance Management:

  • Manage our mid-year process, ensuring the capture of performance commentary and regular reporting on overall progress to ensure adherence to policy
  • Review recommendations for enhancements to our current process and take the lead on implementing any changes agreed in advance of year end cycle
  • Support workshops and/or briefing sessions for HR teams, Leaders and Colleagues on our overall approach to performance management, as needed.

Talent:

  • Support with the design and delivery of workshops to identify talent and agree targeted development activities to accelerate talent readiness for the future
  • Support with design and delivery of business leader sessions to review overall talent, performance, and succession data to inform ongoing action plans
  • Support the implementation of senior leadership 360 programme in Q3, including ongoing management and support for key participants.

Desirable Skills and Experience:

  • 10 years experience working in financial services and/or within similar roles in HR
  • Able to influence and challenge at all levels
  • Self-drive, able to work on own initiative
  • HRIS experience (preferably Workday)
  • Hands-on experience in design, development and implementation of performance and talent practices
  • Knowledge of design, development and implementation of leadership and career development practices
  • Ability to analyse and decipher data to produce meaningful insights for discussion.

Desirable Qualifications:

  • Degree Level or above in Occupational Psychology, Psychology, Organisational Behaviour and/or relevant CIPD professional qualifications
  • Accredited in Psychometric tools
  • Accredited Facilitator
  • Accredited Coach
