Job description

£13,014 per annum based on an FTE of £26,028 per annum 18.75 hours per weekFixed Term until 31st July 2027About the Role

  • You will support national and international-level athletes through 1:1 coaching, education, and practical interventions as well as delivering individualised, solution-focused well-being coaching across FE & HE.
  • You will also collaborate with head coaches and academy leads to plan and deliver a progressive curriculum to empower student athletes in balancing performance sport with personal wellbeing and education.
  • You will benefit from personal and professional learning and development opportunities and coaching supervision from an experienced Performance Sport Well-being consultant.

About You

  • You will hold a degree or equivalent in Sports Management, Sports Science, or a discipline relevant the management and personal development of high performing individuals.
  • You will also hold a professional coaching & mentoring qualification (level 5 equivalent or above) or accreditation.
  • It would be advantageous if you hold a TASS qualification or being willing to work towards this.
  • You will also be able to demonstrate experience with supporting high performance athletes and young people.
  • You will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to build an effective rapport under pressure.
