We have an incredible opportunity to join us here at Phoenix Group as a Performance Reporting Specialist in our Policyholder Performance and Asset Reporting team within Retirement Solutions & Asset Management Commercial Finance.

Job Type: Permanent

Location: This role could be based in any of our UK offices with time spent working in the office and at home.

The role

As a Performance Reporting Specialist, you’ll play a key role in monitoring and analysing fund performance, supporting data accuracy, and delivering clear, timely reporting to internal stakeholders and governance committees. You’ll work closely with colleagues to maintain fund watchlists, support action plans, and ensure data integrity across all reporting processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the Senior Analyst in tracking and analysing policyholder fund performance.
  • Maintain fund watchlists and contribute to performance improvement planning.
  • Produce and distribute fund performance reports to internal stakeholders and committees.
  • Validate data accuracy and completeness before use in calculations and reporting.
  • Source fund performance data from market vendors and fund managers.
  • Calculate fund performance using spreadsheet tools, applying appropriate controls.
  • Support data management for benchmarks and other static data.
  • Provide policyholder data to internal teams as needed.

What are we looking for?

  • Experience in the financial services industry.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Excel and spreadsheet-based analysis.
  • Performance Reporting Experience
  • Ability to meet deadlines and identify data issues or inconsistencies.
  • Clear communication skills, especially when explaining data assumptions or limitations.
  • A collaborative, solutions-focused mindset.

Desirable Skills

  • Understanding of investment management systems and reporting processes.
  • Familiarity with fund performance reporting tools.
  • Experience with reporting platforms such as Power BI.
  • Relevant professional qualifications
