Job description

Performance Marketing Manager | Brand Hackers

£37-56k pro-rata for day-rates

We build experienced, dynamic, and fractional teams that fit in like puzzle pieces – providing the right knowledge and energy at the right time. We’re not your typical agency or a one-man show; we're a team of passionate professionals who eat, sleep, and breathe branding and marketing.

Our diverse team of experts covers all marketing mix elements, from performance and social media to web development and beyond. With over 200 brands under our belt, our Brand Hackers have a treasure trove of shared experiences. This wealth of knowledge fuels our creativity and gives us the edge.

We’re 4 years old and have grown from just 2 to 24 full-time staff, plus an extended family of talented freelancers we collaborate with regularly. We have some case studies we’re proud of and a growing reputation.

The Role: Performance Marketing Manager

You’ll primarily focus on driving growth through data-driven campaigns and customer acquisition across Google, Meta, and potentially other paid channels.

The ideal candidate has an excellent understanding of digital channels, is an effective communicator, and understands how paid marketing fits into the overall marketing strategy.

Responsibilities:

  1. End-to-end campaign ownership: Take full responsibility for campaign planning, execution, and performance analysis to drive growth for primarily DTC brands across platforms like Google, Meta, and TikTok.

  2. Data-driven decision making: Use insights from performance metrics and dashboards to inform strategies, optimize campaigns, and identify opportunities for innovation and improvement.

  3. Collaboration & stakeholder management: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Brand Founders and internal teams, to align campaign objectives and deliver impactful results.

  4. Innovation & testing: Develop and implement testing plans to refine strategies and keep campaigns forward-thinking and effective.

  5. Account management: Develop and maintain strong client relationships by consistently delivering results and providing strategic growth advice.

Experience/Skills:

  • Proven success in growth management, particularly for DTC brands, focusing on customer acquisition and revenue growth.

  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to use data to optimize performance and inform strategic decisions.

  • Exceptional communication skills, capable of building and maintaining client relationships.

  • Extensive hands-on experience with Google Analytics, Meta Ads Manager, and tracking software.

  • Familiarity with SEO techniques and A/B testing to optimize campaign funnels and customer journeys.

  • Experience managing and mentoring a team, focusing on development and performance improvement (preferred).

  • Experience working in fast-paced startup or agency environments (a plus).

What we offer:

  • This is a freelance, remote contract role, starting ASAP. All team members must be available to be in London at least one day every fortnight.
  • Offers depend on location and experience, within the specified range.
  • Full Up World Membership
