Job Description

If you are a motivated and driven individual looking to take the next step in your career, then we have the perfect role for you as we recruit for a Performance Marketing Manager to join our Marketing team on a permanent basis.

As a member of the wider Marketing team, you will own and scale our paid digital marketing channels, optimising existing channels and identifying areas for growth to improve ROI. You will also play a key role in launching our new brand activity.

What you will do:
  1. Launch and support performance channels aligned with brand activity, maximising campaign spend by collaborating closely with the brand team and media buying agency.
  2. Manage and optimise paid digital marketing channels (PPC, Social, Display, Affiliates).
  3. Explore opportunities to maximise efficiencies with a commercial mindset.
  4. Collaborate with creative teams to deliver engaging content across channels.
  5. Create and own end-to-end reporting on performance channels and present findings in relevant forums.
  6. Utilise Google Analytics to identify improvement opportunities across digital channels.
  7. Manage budgets and media plans alongside our digital marketing agency.
  8. Work with the Senior Content Manager to optimise the post-click journey for conversions.
  9. Brief and collaborate with agencies to deliver media plans based on esure strategy.
  10. Champion process improvements and accelerate digital maturity.
Qualifications
What we would love you to bring:
  • Experience working within a regulated environment, especially Financial Services/Insurance, with multi-stage approval processes.
  • Proven experience managing PPC and Social channels for brand building and sales.
  • Experience managing affiliate relationships, especially in a post GIPP environment, is advantageous.
  • Ability to analyse data across platforms like Google Ads, SA360, Facebook Ads Manager and use insights for performance improvement.
  • Track record of optimising multiple channels and delivering significant improvements.
  • Strong commercial focus, data-driven, with a test-and-learn mentality.
  • Effective communicator able to define projects and present results clearly.
  • Ability to work with legal and compliance teams to ensure marketing materials are compliant yet creative.
  • Positive, proactive attitude and eagerness to find new growth opportunities.
