Now part of the Interactive Strength (TRNR) Group, Wattbike is entering a new phase of growth. With access to group-level expertise, a 30-person tech team and advanced AI content tools, we are positioned to scale our DTC success across the UK, USA, and Europe.

Our five-year strategic goal is to grow to £50m in revenue, with DTC contributing approximately 50% of total sales.

We're looking for a Performance Marketing Manager to join our team and take the lead in driving high-performing acquisition campaigns across digital platforms.

The Role

This is a hands-on and strategic role for a rising performance marketing star. You'll be responsible for the day-to-day operations and management of our paid media channels - primarily Google and Meta - with a focus on driving traffic, leads and sales. You'll also take ownership of our digital analytics foundations, ensuring robust data accuracy, insightful reporting and ongoing optimisation through GA4 and Google Tag Manager.

We're looking for someone who is data-savvy, commercially focused and thrives in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone currently in an executional role who's ready to step up, take ownership and make a measurable impact.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, build, execute and optimise paid media campaigns directly i.e. not via an agency, across primarily Meta (Facebook/Instagram) and Google (Search, YouTube, Shopping and Display)
  • Drive acquisition and conversion performance across ecommerce and lead generation campaigns
  • Own and manage our GA4, GTM and analytics setup - ensuring tracking is accurate, scalable and actionable
  • Troubleshoot data and tracking issues to maintain a strong analytics foundation
  • Deliver regular campaign reporting and performance insights, identifying opportunities to test and improve
  • Leverage AI-powered tools and platforms to improve campaign efficiency, automate routine tasks and generate actionable insights
  • Collaborate closely with ecommerce, brand and CRM to deliver integrated campaign plans
  • Work with internal stakeholders to scale results
  • Monitor channel performance against KPIs and manage budgets effectively to maximise ROI

About You

  • 2-4 years' hands-on experience in running campaigns in a commercial paid media or performance marketing role.
  • Ability to operate and optimise Meta and Google campaigns for commercial impact, directly, i.e. not just via an agency.
  • Ideally, experienced within premium consumer products.
  • Solid understanding of digital marketing metrics and attribution modelling.
  • Confident in setting up and managing GA4 and GTM, with demonstrable troubleshooting experience.
  • Experience using AI tools or platforms (e.g. predictive analytics, copy generation, performance modelling) to improve digital marketing outcomes
  • Highly analytical, detail-oriented, and comfortable using and sharing data to inform decisions.
  • Self-motivated, tenacious and able to take ownership and drive projects forward.
  • Comfortable in a dynamic environment and eager to grow with the business.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally.
