Job description

BAWAG Group is the publicly listed holding company of BAWAG, one of Austria’s largest banks with over 4 million customers. As a dynamic employer, we foster talent and rapidly drive technological innovation. Flat hierarchies, a flexible work environment, and equal opportunities for our employees are especially important to us.

Join the BAWAG Digital Growth Team

BAWAG Group is building an in-house performance marketing POD to scale digital sales across our core markets. Paid Social is a critical lever.

The impact you’ll own

Turn paid social reach into profitable, well-tracked applications for Consumer Loans, Current Accounts, Investment / Brokerage Accounts, Credit Cards, SME / Freelancer Accounts. You own the channel strategy, day-to-day optimisation and a structured test roadmap for Meta (primary) plus other scaled paid-social platforms.

What you’ll do

Own multi-market paid social acquisition (hands-on). Plan, launch, optimise and scale campaigns across AT, DE, NL, IE & US; localise offers & creative variants.

  • Full-funnel strategy awareness. Use upper-funnel bursts (video, reach & awareness) to drive branded demand & re-engagement that converts to applications—even when Paid Social isn’t last click.
  • Use platform automation where it helps; keep manual control where it matters. Deploy Meta Advantage+ / automated placements / creative combinations for efficiency; apply structure & exclusions for business goals.
  • Signal plumbing & measurement. Partner with attribution engineers to ensure the right signals (lead, qualified, approved, funded, activated) are captured, validated and fed back into platforms & BI. Close the loop for better bidding & reporting.
  • Lead quality > lead volume. Optimise in-platform and site forms for data completeness & qualification; reduce junk leads.
  • Work with creative team to fit creatives with channel and campaign strategy-
  • Build lightweight dashboards; read results; recommend next tests. Work closely with Technology, Product / Sales, Analytics & SEA / Google / SEO peers
What you bring
  • 5 years of digital marketing experience with 2 years hands-on Meta Ads Manager expertise structuring acquisition or lead-gen programs.
  • Experience with paid social in financial services / fintech / other high-governance categories preferred.
  • Working knowledge of other paid-social platforms (as TikTok, Snap, Reddit, LinkedIn, etc.) and how to adapt creative + targeting for conversion.
  • Server-side tracking familiarity (Conversions API or equivalent); comfortable able to monitor and maintain quality of conversion signals.
  • Analytical basics (Excel; SQL or BI helpful).
  • Fluency in English; German a plus.
What we offer
  • FlexOffice is our motto! Work in the comfort of your own home whenever it aligns with your job responsibilities.
  • Our office is modern and conveniently located.
  • Strong collaboration and diversity are actively lived within our teams.
  • We support personal development and career planning through a customized and attractive training program.
  • In addition, we offer exciting and lucrative additional benefits.

Please note: The position is intended for the London location and is based on an English employment contract.
