Performance Manager (Digital Marketing Agency)

Location: Salford, Manchester

The Role

The Client Experience team seeks a confident Performance Manager with strong Account Management skills to oversee daily client accounts. You will be the main contact, responsible for managing activities and strategic development, from briefing and media strategy to collaborating with internal teams to meet client objectives. You will lead meetings, represent the company, and make decisions with autonomy and support from senior managers. Confidence, solution orientation, and trust-building are key.

Team Summary

The Client Experience team is central to the agency, maintaining client relationships and ensuring delivery of marketing objectives through omnichannel media planning, buying, data strategy, technology, creative, and training. Responsibilities include:

  • Managing client services and agency output, recommending process improvements
  • Managing client budgets and negotiations
  • Mentoring junior team members
  • Handling campaign setup, optimizations, and reporting
  • Attending client meetings and presenting insights
  • Supporting new business growth
  • Developing client strategies and proposing new solutions
  • Maintaining industry knowledge and regional travel (20%)

Key Skills

  • Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
  • Experience with Experian location analyst
  • Knowledge of Google Adwords and Facebook Business Manager
  • Valid driving license
