Corporate Resources and Business Improvement
The Resources and Business Improvement directorate is led by Dianne Tranmer. It is responsible for: People Function, Facilities Management, Digital Experience Unit and Technology Group, Information Governance, Executive Support Team, and leadership of all shared services across the GLA Group.
About The Role
The Performance and Collaboration Support Officer will provide effective and responsive support to the Corporate Resources & Business Improvement (CR&BI) directorate. The role will manage work related to people and budgets, working with finance on budgets and with the People Function on initiatives including equality, diversity, inclusion, and wellbeing.
The role involves collaboration across units within the directorate and the GLA to monitor performance, governance, compliance, and reporting. It will also manage the CR&BI Network of Health and Safety Coordinators, SAP Gatekeepers, Information Administrators, and Change Champions.
The role will support the ED in embedding corporate changes and help organize directorate-wide events.
Job Description
Job purpose
To support the CR&BI directorate effectively. The Performance and Collaboration team will handle work on people and budgets, coordinate corporate initiatives, and manage health and safety roles. Both Support Officer roles will assist the ED in embedding changes and support the Directorate Leadership team.
Principal accountabilities
Communications: Develop and manage internal communications, newsletters, and reporting.
DLT Support: Support the Directorate Leadership team with planning, reports, briefings, and events.
Performance: Coordinate submissions and monitor responses.
Governance: Support governance activities, meetings, and reporting.
EDI: Participate in Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion initiatives.
Finance Support: Manage financial approval processes, purchase orders, and invoicing.
Business Support: Lead on organizational change initiatives, coordinate activities, and support events.
Promote equality and diversity, and support flexible working arrangements.

Person specification
Technical Skills & Experience
Experience in stakeholder environments, supporting senior staff, planning, communication, problem-solving, and project management.
