National Grid is hiring a Performance and Finance Manager to support the UK Technical Training team through national grids finance and procurement processes.
Within the role you'll ensure alignment with evolving initiatives that influence sourcing and budget activities. You'll oversee financial operations including the operating expenditure, capital expenditure, workforce planning and departmental budgets while ensuring full compliance with financial and regulatory protocols. In addition, the role will manage UK-wide Technical Training performance data and analytics providing strategic insights to drive team performance, quality and efficiency.
You'll lead the Finance and Analytics Team driving continuous improvement and streamlining work processes. A solid understanding of the training environment is essential to translating business requirements into actionable deliverables that meet the Business need
The role is hybrid and we will hope to see you at our site in Eakring, alternatively Tipton or Taunton, and there also may be some adhoc travel to different sites.
You must be able to drive and have a full UK driving licence for this role.
You'll bring a blend of financial expertise, analytical skills and management capability to drive performance and innovation across the team
A competitive salary between £61,000 - £74,000 per annum - dependent on capability.
As well as your base salary, you will receive a bonus based on personal and company performance and a competitive contributory pension scheme where we will double match your contribution to a maximum company contribution of 12%.
