A leading investment management firm is seeking a detail-oriented Performance and Attribution Analyst to join their dynamic team. This role is crucial for calculating and reviewing performance returns for funds, client portfolios, and benchmarks. The successful candidate will also lead projects to update performance calculation tools and implement performance attribution systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Calculate and review performance returns for funds, client portfolios, and benchmarks.
  • Manage projects related to client reporting, including updating performance calculation tools and implementing attribution systems.
  • Coordinate with vendors to meet requirements and support onboarding of new services.
  • Perform data analysis, including stock and sector attribution, resolving data queries, and peer group analysis.
  • Prepare performance reports on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
  • Oversee outsourced performance measurement processes and maintain training materials and procedures.
  • Maintain integrity and confidentiality at all times.
  • Collaborate effectively with colleagues, clients, and external parties.
  • Apply strong knowledge of asset management, attribution calculations, and performance measurement methodologies.
  • Demonstrate numeracy, accuracy, problem-solving skills, advanced Excel skills, and understanding of accounting and valuation principles.
Experience and Qualifications:
  • Experience in calculating performance for client portfolios, funds, and benchmarks.
  • Experience within an asset manager or third-party performance measurement team.
  • Exposure to equity, fixed income, and multi-asset securities.
  • Familiarity with market data vendors such as FactSet, Bloomberg, or Morningstar.
  • Experience with performance software like FactSet, Lipper, MSCI BarraOne, or StatPro.
  • IMC or CIPM qualifications are preferable.
