The post holder will be responsible for supporting the performance analysis of the live services.

In this role, you would be expected to develop performance measurement frameworks (KPIs, goals, user needs, benefits, etc.) and subsequently analyse the performance of the service against these. Using advanced analysis, interpretation, and presentation of complex data and information, the post holder will support business decisions and make recommendations for improvements and efficiencies for NHS Workforce Recruitment Services and, when requested, the wider business and external customers.

In this role you are accountable for:

  • Handling large datasets with a clear understanding of how to clean, process, analyse, and visualise data.

  • Collating and analysing data to make recommendations for improvements and efficiencies for NHS Workforce Recruitment Services and, when requested, the wider business and external customers.
  • Communicating complex and, at times, sensitive data and analysis effectively at all levels, to both technical and non-technical audiences either verbally or in writing. Ensuring the information provided is accessible and understandable and conforms to high standards.
  • Working as part of, or with, an Agile or Scrum team, where appropriate, on a specific project or in day-to-day continuous improvement activities.
  • Representing the organisation as a data/business expert with internal and external customers.
  • Maintaining and adapting any web-based electronic reporting system environments in line with customer requirements.
  • Supporting training and advice across the service in relation to the appropriate usage and understanding of the performance analysis data.
  • Ensuring the integrity of the data and all reports and information requests are quality checked in conjunction with business experts and Statisticians, where appropriate.
  • Working collaboratively with a diverse range of customers/users within the organisation, the NHS, and external organisations to define and develop new information products and enhance the existing information provision. Working closely with third-party suppliers where appropriate.
  • Participating in user acceptance testing for new or changed information systems.
  • Working with project teams to procure, implement, and validate appropriate analytics tools against identified performance measurement frameworks.
  • Informing the iterative design of the service to ensure effectiveness, efficiency, and accuracy.
  • Providing challenge from a digital perspective and collaborating with other digital and analytical professions, especially User Researchers, to provide collective insights.
