Responsibilities:

1. Undertake PeopleSoft development projects according to the Agile Methodology.
2. Undertake major development projects, ensure milestones are met and the project delivered.
3. Increase business productivity through effective use and development of the PeopleSoft application.
4. Identifying, evaluating, and developing systems and procedures that are cost effective and meet user requirements.
5. Consultation on issues impacted by the use of the PeopleSoft application and provide recommendations for improvements.
6. Formulate and develop short and long term recommendations that meet project requirements.
7. Provide ad hoc technical support and reporting.
8. Proactively identify improvements and alternative approaches to current system processes.
9. Assist in the support and development of other database systems and applications that reside under the control of the Financial Systems team.
10. Improve controls, processes, and procedures by implementing a disciplined approach to change management.
11. Provide adhoc emergency and shared bank holiday technical support.

Skills and Experience:

Technical Skills:
• Experience in the PeopleTools toolset including Application Designer, PeopleCode, Application Engine and Component Interface.
• Technical experience in the core PeopleSoft Financials modules.
• Reporting tools including SQR, nVision, BI Publisher and SQL.

Soft Skills:
• Strong communications skills.
• Ability to effectively organise and prioritise work.
• Excellent time management skills and able to work to strict deadlines.
• Ability to work well under pressure.
• Strong analytical skills.
• Ability to effect change.
• Keen to work with all areas and levels within business.
