Platform Technical Analyst – People Systems (SAP)
Platforms: People Systems (e.g., SAP, eArcu, CultureAmp)
Are you a detail-oriented Platform Technical Analyst experienced with People-based systems? Laing O'Rourke offers an opportunity to combine business analytical skills with technical expertise to support and optimize our People Systems platforms. The role primarily involves working on SAP-based systems like SuccessFactors, playing a key role in the operation and enhancement of our HR technology ecosystem. Responsibilities include:
- Business Analysis: Conduct detailed analysis to understand and document HR requirements, processes, and workflows.
- Technical Expertise: Act as a SME for SAP SuccessFactors and related platforms, advising on best practices and system capabilities.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Work with the HR Product Owner, platform engineers, and third-party support to ensure alignment. Engage stakeholders to gather requirements and communicate updates.
- System Configuration and Maintenance: Configure and maintain People Systems platforms, ensuring efficiency, data integrity, and security through regular audits and updates.
- Process Improvement: Identify and implement opportunities for system and process enhancements to improve workflows and efficiency.
- Reporting and Data Analysis: Generate reports, analyze system performance and HR metrics, ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
- Project Support: Support project planning and execution for new implementations or system enhancements, providing technical expertise throughout.
- Holistic HR Technology View: Maintain awareness of how different HR systems integrate, guiding effective business solutions.
The role requires collaboration with multiple stakeholders, necessitating time in the office at Dartford, Kent.
Technical Skills and Qualifications:
- Extensive experience with People Systems, especially SAP SuccessFactors; familiarity with CultureAmp and eArcu is desirable.
- Proficiency in integration technologies, data management, and governance practices.
- Strong understanding of HR operations and best practices.
- Knowledge of design thinking and agile methodologies.
- Experience working within HR operations as a technical or business analyst.
