Job description

We’re looking for a passionate and people-focused People Specialist to support our logistics network across the country. This is a central role, supporting all 7 logistics sites to deliver key people initiatives, drive engagement, and support our colleagues to perform at their best.

This is a hybrid position, but you’ll need to be within one hour of a site or Head Office and comfortable with regular travel across the network.

Responsibilities:

1. Analyze data, produce reports, and recommend improvements to advance our people strategy.
2. Manage projects creating people packs to support change management initiatives across sites.
3. Collaborate with stakeholders, including senior leaders, to foster cooperation between sites and central functions.
4. Assist with ER cases, including investigations and disciplinaries, supporting managers with note-taking and policy guidance.
5. Coordinate colleague engagement activities such as listening sessions, communications, and events.
6. Analyze engagement survey results (NPS) and develop actionable plans to promote positive change.
7. Support Diversity, Equity & Inclusion activities, including mentoring and large-scale events.
8. Work with the Talent Specialist on Leadership School, Early Careers, and talent initiatives to ensure alignment.

About you:

You should have a solid HR background, eager to grow and make a significant impact in a dynamic, fast-moving environment. Knowledge of logistics is a plus but not required. You will also be:

1. A self-motivated, organized individual with keen attention to detail and multitasking abilities.
2. Strong communicator capable of building relationships, influencing, and challenging at all levels.
3. Proficient in spreadsheets and presentation tools to share insights and support decision-making.
4. Willing to travel across the country as needed.
