A leading global insurance company is seeking a part-time Governance and Risk Manager to oversee compliance and operational risk management. This hybrid role entails developing risk frameworks and enhancing governance within the organization. The ideal candidate will have expertise in risk management and strong interpersonal skills. This is a part-time job share position with 14- or 17.5-hour work week.
In this role, you will support the Chief People & Culture (P&C) Officer and Senior Leadership Team in developing the governance and risk management function. You will oversee the identification, assessment, monitoring, and reporting of operational risks, while also setting and managing the audit framework.
You will ensure compliance with the Senior Managers and Certification Regime (SMCR) by leading and monitoring supporting processes. In addition, you will coordinate key regulatory and legislative reporting to Group, strengthening governance and operational resilience across the organisation.
This is a hybrid role based in one of the following offices: Bournemouth, Birmingham, Bristol, Guildford, London, or Manchester, with the expectation to be on-site two days per week.
You will also be required to attend P&C events, such as the all-day quarterly meeting.
Pay: Circa £62,500 FTE per year. Pay is based on relevant experience, skills for the role, and location. Salary is only one part of our total reward package.
