Peoples RelationsSupport the development and implementation of employee relations strategies and programmes, that foster positive relationships and a productive work environmentEnsure compliance with employment laws and regulations, staying updated with changes and advising and supporting management on employment relations mattersWork collaboratively with St Marys HR Provider, ensuring the leadership receive regular updates on HR mattersEnsure effective on boarding of new employees, volunteers and students on placement, supporting the operational managers in implementationSupport the organisation of HR training and development for managersMonitor employee and volunteer morale and engagement levels, proposing initiatives to improve satisfaction and ways of working where appropriateWork with the People Committee, supporting the development of health and wellbeing champions and annual health and wellbeing calendarLead the volunteer recruitment officer and coordinate volunteer management throughout the organisationMaintain accurate and confidential employee and volunteer documentationand recordsDevelop, streamline and maintain all relevant documentation to challenge the status quo and promote continuous improvement e.g. implementation of digital staff records and full use of the Ciphr HR systemSupport managers with performance related matters relating to employees and volunteers e.g. note taking at any performance related meetingsProduce Peoples report for sharing with the leadership team, to help in highlighting areas of good practice and opportunities for improvementConduct exit interviews and make recommendations for proactive solutions

We are seeking a knowledgeable and experiencedPeople Relations Managerto promote a harmonious work environment and oversee the HR & Administration Team and Volunteering function.
You will be working collaboratively with our HR providers and supporting the leadership team in the development & implementation of a Peoples strategy
