Job summary

Michael Page is helping a national organisation recruit a People Policy & Experience Lead to shape a modern, inclusive policy framework and enhance the colleague experience through recognition initiatives. The role combines strategic policy design with hands-on rollout, embedding cultural change and driving engagement across the business.

The position is a hybrid role with occasional travel to Leeds, Peterborough and London, offering an 18-month Fixed-Term Contract and a September 2026 start.

Qualifications

• Experience developing and implementing people policy frameworks.
• Strong working knowledge of UK employment law and its practical application.
• Experience leading organisational change and behaviour change programmes.
• Proven track record delivering employee experience initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end review, development and rollout of a modern people policy framework.
• Design and roll out policies, guidance, toolkits, communications and learning resources.
• Develop and deliver a company-wide recognition and appreciation framework.
• Review colleague journey stages and identify opportunities to improve engagement and productivity.
• Lead projects supporting cultural transformation and organisational change.
• Build strong cross-HR and business stakeholder relationships for sustainable delivery.
• Measure impact with data and drive continuous improvement.
• Champion inclusive and collaborative ways of working.
