Our team members work across Palmerston North, Christchurch, and Ashburton in various functions, including manufacturing and distribution, with our commercial head office based in Auckland. About The Role

We are seeking a People and Performance (P&P) Advisor to join our Palmerston North office. Reporting to the P&P Manager, you will act as a trusted advisor to our people leaders, providing expert guidance on various people matters while ensuring the adoption of effective people strategies, plans, and objectives to build operational capability and support strategic goals.

This is a generalist role, involving active participation across the full employee lifecycle. You will engage in exciting projects focused on leadership capability, well-being initiatives, employment branding, engagement, recognition, people capability building, talent retention, and process improvement. Your work will have a meaningful impact on people’s lives.

What You’ll Bring To The Table

  • At least 3 years of experience in an HR/People and Performance role with a proven track record.
  • A strong understanding of core People and Performance processes, including performance management, talent management, and ER, and their impact on business performance.
  • Familiarity with New Zealand employment legislation.
  • Ability to analyze information, identify issues, and recommend effective solutions.
  • Experience managing projects through their full lifecycle.
  • Excellent relationship management skills and stakeholder credibility.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, emphasizing clear communication in employment relationships.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and various technology systems.
