Job summary

The University of Manchester is looking for three People Partners to join our People Directorate, working with Faculties and Professional Services to deliver high-quality, consistent people solutions.

You will act as a trusted advisor to senior leaders, shaping initiatives across talent, succession, organisational design, development, performance and culture, helping to build inclusive, high-performing environments through collaboration.

Qualifications

• Experienced HR professional with ability to act as trusted advisor to senior leaders.
• Ability to diagnose organisational needs and connect with Centres of Excellence.
• Strong collaboration and change management skills.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Faculties and Professional Services to deliver people solutions.
• Advise senior leaders and coaches to shape initiatives in talent, succession, org design, development, performance, and culture.
• Ensure impactful solutions are embedded through collaboration across schools and directorates.

Join us as a People Partner at the University of Manchester

We’re looking for three People Partners to play a pivotal role within our People Directorate, working closely with Faculties and Professional Services to deliver high-quality, consistent people solutions.

Acting as a trusted advisor and coach to senior leaders, you will shape and deliver initiatives across talent, succession, organisational and workforce design, development, performance, and culture, helping to build inclusive, high-performing environments.

You’ll partner with Schools, Professional Services Directorates or key functions to understand priorities, diagnose organisational needs, and connect them with the expertise of our Centres of Excellence, ensuring impactful solutions are embedded effectively.
