Job summary

WHSmith is seeking an experienced People Partner to support stores across the South of the UK. This field-based role involves visiting stores and working with Retail Field Leadership to drive high performance and engagement.

You will be visible, influential and hands-on, partnering with leaders to implement people plans. You’ll champion values-led behaviours and play a key role in delivering our people strategy, enabling leaders to grow capability and lead teams effectively in a fast-paced

Responsibilities

• Partner with field leadership to deliver people plans aligned to commercial objectives
• Coach and challenge leaders on performance, engagement, capability and behaviour
• Lead on complex employee relations cases with fair, consistent outcomes
• Support organisational change, restructures and consultations with confidence
• Use data and insight to identify trends, risks and opportunities across the region
• Drive talent, succession and development planning to build future-ready leadership capability

Job description

This role requires occasional travel visiting our store locations.

Office locations are based in either Swindon or Aldgate.
