Job summary

Leonardo Luton is seeking a part-time People Partner to join the People Team on a 14-month fixed-term contract, based in Luton with 22 hours per week onsite for at least two days. The role is aligned to support operations, manufacturing and quality teams and to enable a culture of trust and empowerment.

You will help deliver the UK People Plan, coach leaders, drive resourcing and engagement initiatives, and work with an outsourced HR provider to ensure smooth day-to-day services.

• Ability to engage with all levels of the organisation and build relationships with senior stakeholders.
• Proficient in IT – Word, PowerPoint and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Support the People Team in delivering and leading projects across resourcing, engagement and performance management.

• Apply best people practice and enhance leadership skills aligned to Leonardo’s values.
• Facilitate workshops and coaching of leaders and managers.
• Partner with the outsourced HR provider to ensure seamless delivery of People services.

Your Impact:

At Leonardo we have an exciting opportunity for a People Partner to join the People Team in Luton on a Fixed Term Contract to cover Maternity Leave. The contract duration is up to 14 months (January 2028).

This is a part‑time opportunity contracted for 22 hrs per week, therefore the salary advertised will be pro‑rated to circa £30,000 to £32,000. There is flexibility around whether those 22 hours are completed across three or four working days. However, due to the nature of the work the individual is required onsite at least two days per week at Luton.

What you will do as a People Partner:

• You will support the People Team in delivering and leading projects in the Electronic Warfare & Future Combat Air lines of business across a range of people areas including resourcing,employee engagementandperformance management.
• You will support the People Team andfunctional leadershipteams to mature and embed the UK People Plan.
• You will support the application of best people practice and the enhancement of leadership skills that align to Leonardo’s values and itsPeople ManagementFundamentals.
• You will facilitate workshops and coaching of leaders and managers.
• You will working in partnership with the outsourced HR provider to ensure a seamless delivery of operational and administrative People services.

What you’ll bring:

• A People professional with a track record of delivering positive people focused change
• The ability to engage and interact with all levels of the organisation and build effective working relationships with senior stakeholders.
• Proficient in IT – Word, PowerPoint and Excel.
• A team player who can work well with the local and the UK People team.
• The ability to work independently, multi task and deliver to tight deadlines.
