What You'll Do
Are you passionate about shaping workplace culture, driving performance through people, and supporting business growth through strategic HR? At Samworth Brothers Supply Chain, we’re looking for a proactive and hands-on People Partner to join our People Team.As a key member of our team, you’ll work closely with leaders across four sites to deliver flexible and effective people solutions. You’ll play a vital role in embedding our values, enhancing employee experience, and building a positive, high-performance culture.
- Act as a trusted advisor to senior leaders and managers, supporting them through change and development.
- Drive initiatives across the full colleague lifecycle—from recruitment and onboarding to talent development and succession planning.
- Provide hands-on support in employee relations, absence management, and performance enhancement.
- Leverage people data and insight to influence business decisions and demonstrate return on investment.
- Represent the People Team in senior meetings and contribute to strategic planning when required.
- Promote wellbeing, inclusion, and continuous learning throughout the business.

What you will need
There is a right role for everyone and we want to set you up for success. For the People Partner role we are looking for the following key skills and experience for this position:
- Experience of partnering with senior management teams in a dynamic business environment.
- Strong skills in employee relations, coaching, and organisational change.
- commercially-minded approach with a passion for people and culture.
- CIPD Level 5 is preferred but not essential—your practical experience matters most.
