Are you an experienced HR professional eager to make a tangible difference in the not‑for‑profit space?As a trusted People Partner, you will embed within our operations, identifying key opportunities to build people capability, performance, and organisational effectiveness. You'll advise senior managers, influence at strategic levels, and co-deliver our evolving HR strategy.

Job Description

  • Provide specialist HR guidance aligned with best practice, current and emerging UK employment legislation, and company standards.
  • Lead employee relations cases - structuring strong resolutions, supporting tribunal responses, and managing change initiatives including restructures and redundancies.
  • Drive TUPE transfers: facilitate consultations, oversee due diligence and liaise with external partners when required.
  • Coach and empower line managers with legal compliance and best practice across ER, performance, reward, engagement, and development.
  • Partner with operational Directors and senior leadership to craft and execute people plans in support of wider business strategy.
  • Interpret and act on people analytics and survey insights; use these to shape engagement, performance, recognition, and retention strategies.
  • Support recruitment, talent spotting, and succession planning, embedding learning and development activity at a hub and organisational level.
  • Lead reward initiatives and employee experience enhancements that reflect our values.
  • Collaborate seamlessly with the People Team and operational hubs, covering nominated areas and providing interim support as needed.

The Successful Applicant

  • Proven track record as an HR Business Partner, People Partner, or equivalent in a Not for Profit or Public Sector organisation.
  • Hands-on experience with change management, ER casework, TUPE, performance management, and talent strategy.
  • CIPD-qualified (Level 5+) or equivalent, with strong UK employment law knowledge.
  • Excellent influencing, coaching, and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Data-driven and insightful; able to translate metrics into impactful people plans.
