Job summary

Brook is the UK's leading sexual health and wellbeing charity, seeking an experienced People & Organisational Development Partner. You will partner with managers to provide practical HR advice on ER, absence, performance and change, while developing policies, supporting recruitment and retention, and improving HR systems.

The role offers 37.5 hours per week in a hybrid UK setting, with a 4 Day Week program after probation and a permanent contract.

Qualifications

• CIPD Level 5 qualification or equivalent experience.
• Significant experience in a generalist HR / People role.
• Strong knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practice.
• Experience of managing complex employee relations cases including disciplinary, grievance, absence, performance and capability matters.
• Experience of coaching, advising and influencing managers at all levels.
• Experience of supporting organisational change including restructures and TUPE.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
• Experience of developing and implementing HR policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Partner with managers across the organisation, providing practical and trusted advice on employee relations, absence, performance and organisational change.
• Develop and implement our people policies and practices, supporting recruitment and retention, improving systems and processes.
• Help identify workforce trends and opportunities for improvement.
• Collaborate to deliver an excellent people service.
