Job Title: People & Organisation Development Support Administrator
Location: Police Headquarters
Contract Type: Temporary
Pay Rate: £12.80 per hour (PAYE) / £16.84 per hour (Umbrella)
Hours: Full-Time, 37 hours per week
Vetting Level Required: RV (Recruitment Vetting)

About the Role:
Service Care Solutions are currently recruiting on behalf of a UK police force for a highly organised and motivated People & OD Support Administrator to join their People Services team. Based at Police HQ, this role provides crucial administrative support across various HR and organisational development functions.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Provide day-to-day admin support across the People & OD business area.
  2. Arrange appointments, interviews and meetings, and greet internal/external visitors.
  3. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records on SharePoint, Teams, Intranet, and other systems.
  4. Support the delivery of key HR processes including recruitment, workforce planning, performance, and attendance.
  5. Collate and report management information to assist strategic decision-making.
  6. Provide cover across the wider team as needed.
Essential Skills & Experience:
  1. Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  2. Experience working with sensitive data in line with Data Protection principles.
  3. High attention to detail and accurate data inputting skills.
  4. Strong communication skills (verbal and written).
  5. GCSEs A-C in Maths and English or equivalent.
  6. Previous experience providing high standards of service in a customer-focused environment.
Desirable:
  1. Experience of collation, evaluation, and research of system data.
  2. Knowledge of HR policies and procedures.
