Job summary

K&Z Holdings - Pret A Manger is seeking a People/HR pro to join our lean above-store team, across 26 sites in the South of England. The role blends HR with operational support, taking ownership of ideas through to live implementation and handling admin, data and audits.

You’ll report to the Head of People & Culture, with scope across the business. Hybrid work, travel to sites, and a focus on practical HR across fast-paced environments are expected.

Qualifications

• Practical People/HR experience in real-world settings.
• Ability to understand and improve employee relations processes.
• Experience in hospitality/retail or multi-site operations is valuable.

Responsibilities

• Oversee right to work, visa expiries and other key People compliance.
• Own People dashboards and data, spotting trends and turning them into action.
• Keep onboarding and probation processes on track and streamline.
• Support recruitment across KFC and Pret; assist with systems and best practice.
• Support maternity and family-related processes, providing manager/employee support.
• Collaborate with external ER partner Moorepay to move cases and coach managers.
• Champion engagement surveys and translate results into action.
• Support events, recognition, awards and development initiatives across both brands.
