Lupa Pets is seeking an HR Manager to own the employee lifecycle from offer to exit at our Paddington, London HQ. You will build and manage onboarding, ensure HR compliance including right-to-work and GDPR, and keep high-quality employee data across systems.

You'll thrive in a high-growth startup, collaborating with managers to deliver accurate reporting and scalable processes that support rapid growth in the UK and beyond.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in an HR Manager, People Operations Manager, or HR Advisor role
• Strong understanding of employment law, HR compliance, and the operational mechanics of the employee lifecycle
• Experience managing right-to-work processes and, ideally, visa sponsorship administration
• Comfortable owning HR systems and maintaining the quality of employee data within them
• Experience in a high-growth startup or scale-up environment where you've had to build as well as run
• CIPD qualification or equivalent hands-on experience (nice to have)

• Be the first point of contact for employee and manager queries, providing clear, confident guidance on policies and processes
• Continuously improve how we do things, spotting inefficiencies, building better processes, and raising the bar on what great people operations looks like

In this role, you will:

Your background looks something like:

• Previous experience in an HR Manager, People Operations Manager, or HR Advisor role

• Strong understanding of employment law, HR compliance, and the operational mechanics of the employee lifecycle

• Experience managing right-to-work processes and, ideally, visa sponsorship administration

• Comfortable owning HR systems and maintaining the quality of employee data within them

• Experience in a high-growth startup or scale-up environment where you've had to build as well as run (nice to have)

• CIPD qualification or equivalent hands-on experience (nice to have)
