Job description

My client is a Top 40 firm of Chartered Accountants. As a leading firm of Chartered Accountants, they look after the accountancy, tax planning and business advisory needs of their clients (individuals, businesses and third sector organisations both in the UK and overseas).


As the People Operations Lead you will establish and lead the HR operations from the ground up - design, implement and manage scalable HR processes and systems that support my clients growth trajectory.


Key Responsibilities:

  1. Design, implement and manage scalable HR processes and systems that support Streets growth trajectory. Create workflows, ensuring compliance and enhancing the employee experience.
  2. Create and implement HR Operations roadmap which encompasses streamlined consistent automated HR processes, roll-out and embed across the business.
  3. Implement HR operations processes for the full employee life cycle including starters, movers, and leavers, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
  4. Develop processes and guidelines to ensure compliance with both policy and legislation and identify areas for process improvement.
  5. Support building the HR infrastructure, systems and processes.
  6. Oversee the effective management of HR processes and policies.

Key Skills and Competencies:

  1. Strong HR Operational knowledge with some partnering experience.
  2. Familiarity with HR systems (e.g., Hi-Bob, Workday, or similar platforms).
  3. Knowledge of employment law and HR best practices.

Qualifications & Experience:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  2. 5 years of experience in HR operations or a similar role.
  3. Proficiency in MS Office Suite and HR management systems.
  4. Strong understanding of HR compliance and employment law.
