People & Office Coordinator within a high-growth Generative AI Scale-Up

Location: London

WFH: 4-5 days in the office per week

Salary: Up to £40,000

Hawkwood is partnering with a world-leading Generative AI Scale-Up on a People & Office Coordinator role to support their people team. You will take ownership of onboarding, champion culture, and foster a world-class working environment.

The client has 450 employees globally and recently secured an outstanding Series D funding round, marking an energizing stage in their growth.

We are looking for a candidate with the drive to support a high-performing people team, contribute to culture, and provide new starters with a great first impression of the business.

Responsibilities include:

  1. Owning the pre-onboarding process and gaining exposure to a high-performance people team.
  2. Working closely with new employees, coordinating inductions, and acting as the main point of contact.
  3. Managing office essentials such as supplies, groceries, and equipment to foster a positive culture.
  4. Managing the HRIS system to ensure data accuracy and seamless processes.
  5. Serving as the primary liaison for employees and handling requests related to office maintenance and management.

You will be a good fit if you have:

  1. Approximately 2-3 years of experience in office management or people operations, preferably in a tech startup or scale-up.
  2. Experience with HRIS systems (Rippling preferred) and proficiency in Slack, GSuite, Notion, etc.
  3. An independent nature and the drive to find answers proactively.
  4. The ability to handle sensitive data with care and discretion.
  5. Excellent organizational skills, a love of processes, and meticulous attention to detail.
