You will oversee HR teams, ensure compliance with legislation, and provide guidance on employee relations. The ideal candidate has proven experience in HR, holds a CIPD qualification, and possesses strong interpersonal skills. This full-time role also includes occasional travel across the UK.

Job description

Kingswood Group is delighted to be partnering with a commercial business to recruit an experienced People Manager.

This full-time, permanent role is central to delivering both strategic and operational human resources support across the business. Occasional travel to other offices across the United Kingdom will be required.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop the People Advisory and People Administration teams
  • Provide guidance on employee relations matters, performance management, organisational changes, and company policies
  • Ensure human resources systems and processes are legally compliant and operating efficiently
  • Oversee annual projects such as performance appraisals and gender pay gap reporting
  • Support business acquisitions and ensure smooth employee integration
  • Drive initiatives that enhance the employee experience and improve ways of working
  • Work closely with the People Director on strategic people initiatives
  • Maintain up-to-date policies, employee benefits, and internal communications

Experience And Skills Required

  • Proven experience in a senior human resources or people management role
  • Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development qualification (or equivalent)
  • Strong knowledge of employment legislation and human resources best practice
  • Confident in managing sensitive and complex employee relations cases
  • Experienced people leader with excellent interpersonal skills
