Job summary

PwC UK is seeking a People Lifecycle Manager to oversee day-to-day delivery of outsourced People services. The role focuses on operational delivery, knowledge management, and driving process improvements across performance and talent cycles.

You will build strong relationships with senior stakeholders, manage complex data, and coordinate analytics and logistics for annual Performance and Talent activities, while ensuring governance and risk controls are in place.

Qualifications

• Experience in performance, talent, promotion, reward or other cyclical People activity.
• Commercial understanding of how HR enables business performance.
• Strong project management and organisational skills across multiple workstreams, deadlines and stakeholders.
• Experience managing outsourced providers, service performance, issues, escalations, governance and improvement activity.
• Understanding of risk, control and governance in supplier-managed services.
• Ability to build trusted relationships and communicate clearly with providers, customers, senior stakeholders and internal teams.
• Ability to challenge constructively, influence outcomes and work professionally with a wide range of people.
• Strong Alteryx, Excel, analytical and problem-solving skills for complex operational issues.
• Flexible, resilient and proactive, with curiosity for technology, digital improvement and better ways of working.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate outsourced People services across cyclical activities, ensuring delivery against plans.

The People Lifecycle Manager supports the effective day-to-day delivery of outsourced People services. Operational in focus, the role uses practical knowledge of People cycles and knowledge management to coordinate activity, track actions, resolve issues, monitor service performance, maintain accurate documentation and drive process improvement. It also involves building strong relationships with senior stakeholders across People Function teams, managing complex data collection, analytics and logistics for annual Performance and Talent activities.

What Your Days Will Look Like

• Coordinate outsourced People services across performance, talent, promotion, reward and other cyclical activities, ensuring delivery against agreed plans.
• Manage provider relationships, tracking service performance, queries, actions, escalations, risks and incident resolution.
• Act as the operational escalation point for stakeholders, driving issue resolution and continuous service improvement.
• Partner with service owners, Procurement, Audit, Risk, Security and other control functions to maintain effective governance and compliance.
• Support service continuity, data security and customer experience by identifying, managing and escalating outsourcing risks and service impacts.
• Drive operational improvements, maintain service documentation, and support projects, change initiatives and outsourcing transitions through to implementation.
