Job summary

Unify by Bruntwood in Manchester leads specialist cleaning solutions across commercial offices, retail and education. The role sits at the heart of the People function, partnering with the Group People Director to shape strategy, manage large TUPE restructures, and develop a capable payroll and HR support team.

The successful candidate will drive employee experience, use insights to shape organisational growth, and partner with senior leaders to align people initiatives with Bruntwood's

Qualifications

• Knowledge of UK employment legislation and restructures.
• Hands-on experience leading large-scale TUPE processes.
• End-to-end people operations including onboarding, performance, pay, and exit.
• Payroll processes knowledge and compliance ensuring timely execution.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Bruntwood Group People Director and Unify leadership to deliver the people plan.
• Embed within Unify leadership to address business issues and implement solutions.
• Lead on large TUPE processes and restructures.
• Collaborate with People & Talent and Finance to align projects for Unify workforce.
• Develop and lead a small people team (People Coordinator, People Advisor, Payroll Specialist).
• Own the colleague life cycle from onboarding to exit and drive engagement initiatives.
