Working in the People Team

Do you have a passion for HR and a head for the stars? Are you ready to blast off on a mission to support our incredible team of Open Cosmonauts?

The People team is at the heart of making sure all of our Open Cosmonauts have a fantastic employee experience and that Open Cosmos remains a Great Place to Work! We provide support to the business through the whole employee life cycle focusing on keeping the OC team highly engaged and attracting high calibre people to our open roles.

What will you be doing?

You'll be a key member of our People Team ground crew. This is a very active role where no 2 days are the same! One day you could be coordinating university events, the next day supporting onboarding to give our new Open Cosmonauts the best lift off to their career at OC!

Alongside this, you will be keeping our admin in order, managing employee records, keeping the HRIS up to date, supporting compliance and updates to company policies.

You will have lots of opportunity to learn and progress keeping your career mission on track for success!

What you need to be successful:

  1. You’ll need to be comfortable working in word, excel and powerpoint - even better if you’re familiar with GSuite.
  2. You’ll have strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks with ease.
  3. You’ll have a laser sharp eye for detail to support admin and compliance tasks.
  4. You’ll have great communication skills - both written and verbal.
  5. You’ll be working independently and collaborating as part of a great team.
  6. You’ll have a positive and proactive attitude - bringing your can-do spirit to every mission!
