This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who thrives in dynamic environments, enjoys working closely with people at all levels, and is excited by the chance to help build a progressive, supportive, and inclusive culture.

What You’ll Be Doing

Your role will be generalist, comprising both strategic and hands-on responsibilities, working closely with the Head of People to deliver key People initiatives that support our company’s fast-paced growth and evolving needs.

In this role, you’ll be a trusted, hands-on partner to our team members and leaders. You’ll support the business through a period of growth by helping to embed scalable, people-first practices across the employee lifecycle. From recruitment and onboarding to employee relations, performance, reward and recognition, you’ll be involved in both shaping the bigger picture and delivering day-to-day support. You’ll also coach our people leaders to navigate people matters, contribute to creating a positive and inclusive culture, using data and insights to continuously improve how we support our people.

Recruitment & Growth

  • Build talent pipelines and manage end-to-end recruitment using our in-house platform.
  • Write job adverts, liaise with hiring managers, pre-screen candidates, schedule interviews and maintain recruitment reports.
  • Plan and coordinate attendance at careers fairs, networking events, and hosted events.

People Experience

  • Drive EDI, culture and engagement through an annual calendar of inclusive activities, continuously reviewing impact.
  • Collaborate on wellbeing initiatives, peer support groups and internal learning programmes.
  • Coordinate employee surveys, analyse results and recommend improvements.
  • Develop internal communications and identify team-building opportunities.
  • Support learning and development by developing and coordinating training.
  • Contribute to annual reviews of rewards and recognition packages.

Generalist People-Team Support

  • Provide expert HR advice aligned with company strategy.
  • Support managers with managing employee relations, including absence, grievances, disciplinary and performance issues.
  • Draft and review HR documents such as contracts, offers, promotions and salary changes.
  • Manage on-boarding and off-boarding processes, including compliance checks, inductions and exit interviews, providing key insights to leadership.
  • Maintain accurate employee data and support payroll processes.
  • Prepare and deliver HR metrics.

Person specification:

You’re a natural relationship-builder passionate about people and creating positive experiences. You thrive in a fast-moving, collaborative environment and confidently engage at all levels.

  • Approachable with strong interpersonal skills.
  • Detail-oriented and organised, able to juggle priorities.
  • Adaptable, resilient, and proactive about personal development.
  • Clear communicator, both written and verbal.

Requirements:

  • CIPD Level 5 (or equivalent) and proven generalist HR experience.
  • Experience in recruitment, employee relations, and organisational development.
  • Strong understanding of employment law and HR best practice.
  • Ability to work in a hybrid model with regular on-site presence.
  • Skilled in interpreting data to identify trends and support change management.

Desirable:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a relevant field.
