About The Role

The PX Advisor is primarily responsible for providing Advisory and ER support across the PEXA business, as well as supporting the PX Partnering team on projects and other operational work in line with the PX Strategy.

Key Accountabilities

  • Deliver expert guidance on performance management, workplace policies, and employee relations
  • Guide leaders and employees through PEXA's processes, benefits, and development opportunities
  • Drive people & culture initiatives that enhance our workplace experience

Employee Relations

  • Partner with leaders to manage complex workplace matters, from performance to grievance resolution
  • Lead workplace investigations and mediations with a focus on fair, practical solutions
  • Provide strategic advice to minimize risks while developing leadership capabilities
  • Create and manage key documentation for employee relations cases

Strategic Projects & Innovation

  • Contribute to the evolution of our people practices and policies
  • Collaborate on strategic initiatives that enhance employee experience
  • Drive continuous improvement across our people processes and systems

Operational Excellence

  • Manage critical HR processes including onboarding, probation tracking, and contract management
  • Coordinate with PX Operations and PX Talent teams to ensure seamless people services
  • Support strategic PX initiatives and special projects

Skills and Experience

  • Suitable experience in Human Resources at Senior HR Coordinator, Officer, or Advisor level
  • Sound ER knowledge and ability to engage confidently across this area.
  • Solid experience in case management; disciplinary matters and performance management.
  • Practical and theoretical knowledge of the employee life cycle
  • A sound understanding of HR practices, including Australian employment law and regulations
  • Previous experience supporting a customer facing operations team or contact centre would be advantageous
  • Formal qualifications in HR / AHRI certifications would be advantageous, but not essential
