How you’ll make an impact

Working closely with a global team of PX Advisors, this role will be responsible for providing generalist HR advice and guidance, ensuring that world class support is delivered to our ‘customers’ - Xero employees, people leaders and our wider PX team. This role incorporates a broad spectrum of advisory responsibility, including navigating employee relations issues as a trusted advisor, regional compliance and supporting PX Business Partners with strategic initiatives.

What you’ll do

  1. Provide meaningful and accurate advice and guidance across the full spectrum of PX; including legislative requirements, onboarding, performance management, global mobility, employee engagement and employment relations.
  2. Work with the relevant PX Business Partner to support BAU topics such as change management, investigations, organisational design, and providing reporting, analysis and insights.
  3. Foster a culture of continuous improvement and seek new ways to better serve our Xeros by transforming our ways of working.
  4. Identify and surface trends and opportunities to upskill and build on our People Leadership capabilities.
  5. Support Xero’s understanding of Global Mobility and Flexible Work offerings, working with relevant teams to facilitate requests.
  6. Support PX Business Partners and People Leaders through processes like Salary Review, Talent Mapping, and Engagement deep-dives.
  7. Deliver onboarding and ad-hoc training sessions on people-related matters.
  8. Proactively contribute to key people programs and initiatives.
  9. Build a positive employee experience that enhances business performance and engagement.
  10. Identify opportunities for automation and self-service to empower employees.

  1. Being a Trusted Advisor to Xeros, providing sound advice and meeting service level objectives.
  2. Maintaining a high reputation of the People function through high-quality HR advice.
  3. Ensuring Xero’s compliance with employment legislation at all times.
  4. Building effective relationships with the Global People Experience team.
  5. Supporting Xeros to do their best work.
