Job Role: Data Specialist - People Directorate

This is a new fixed-term role supporting the People Directorate during significant data-focused change projects, including the implementation of an ERP system.

The role-holder will collaborate closely with the People Data and Analytics Manager to advocate for data-driven decision-making and represent the interests of the People Directorate and University in managing and utilizing People Data.

Qualifications and Experience:
  • Experience as a data specialist in a large, complex organization, working with Power BI or similar data analytics tools.
  • GDPR practitioner or equivalent experience.
  • Enjoys investigating and solving data puzzles.
  • Ideally has experience working with HR/Payroll or people data and data migration.
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of translating complex technical scenarios for non-technical audiences.
