Job Description

We have an amazing opportunity for a People and Culture Business Partner to join Viva Energy Australia, partnering with the Liberty Rural business. Whilst Liberty Rural is owned by Viva Energy Australia, it remains at its core an independent wholesale fuel distributor.

As an experienced People & Culture professional, you will build relationships easily and your experience will cover the full suite of P&C activities. You will work closely with the Head of People & Culture to shape and evolve Liberty Rural’s culture and contribute to the development and implementation of the people strategy.

Responsibilities:
  • Partner with senior leaders to enhance leadership capabilities and drive a high-performance culture.
  • Manage and resolve complex employee relations matters including performance management, employee discipline/grievances, and investigations in a procedurally fair manner.
  • Lead and support organisation design and workforce planning to drive organisational effectiveness.
  • Lead and operationalise the execution of specific strategic projects, employee engagement, leadership capability, employee value proposition, diversity and inclusion to shape company culture.
Qualifications
  • 5 plus years’ experience as a Human Resources Business Partner, preferably in a blue-collar workforce.
  • Strong knowledge of employee and industrial relations, particularly in blue-collar environments.
  • Demonstrated record of successfully supporting change and transformation initiatives.
  • Exceptional stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence outcomes.
  • Flexibility and adaptability with a passion for creating positive workplace cultures.
