We are currently recruiting for a People Coordinator to work in our Billericay office.

Key Responsibilities:
- Optimizes the efficiency of the People Team:
- Arranging meetings and People events, helping coordinate People processes, and researching information as directed by the People Partners.
- Manage, monitor, and control People information using electronic forms and trackers (e.g., colleague absence, starters and leavers, vacancies, induction, probationary and annual reviews).
- Own the company benefits, including PMI, Life Assurance, and Travel Insurance, ensuring documentation is available to colleagues.
- Ensure compliance with Right to Work requirements, including visas and leave to remain, managing non-compliance issues.
- Coordinate the Probation process for new colleagues, monitor reviews, and escalate as needed.
- Maintain electronic colleague files, ensuring GDPR compliance and data accuracy.
- Manage admin aspects of the employee lifecycle: onboarding, induction, probation, queries, contract variations, and leavers.
Builds great cross-functional relationships and collaborates with colleagues:- Provide administrative support to the People team, including onboarding, changes, and leavers.
- Act as a contact for HR queries within company policies and procedures.
- Offer generalist People advice and support, escalating queries when necessary.
- Assist in payroll data preparation, including absence and leave data.
- Coordinate induction plans, manage the buddy scheme, and conduct new starter calls.
- Develop and maintain collaborative relationships with colleagues, managers, and the People team.
- Manage parental leave processes, conduct risk assessments, and support colleagues through pregnancy and leave.
- Perform other duties and project work as assigned by the People Partners.
Customer Service and Colleague Relations:- Handle colleague relations and customer service duties.
- Support other duties as assigned by the People Partners.
Skills, Experience, and Qualifications:
- Basic understanding of employment laws (Essential).
- Effective written and oral communication skills.
- Strong administrative skills with customer service and people skills.
- Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with electronic HR systems.
- Ability to prioritize a high-volume workload.
- Meticulous attention to detail.
- Excellent planning and organizational skills.
- A team player who values collaborative working.
